My OB won't make you think "sports car-like handling" but the turning radius is better than the van I traded for it and so far I'm impressed with the comfort and the go anywhere in any weather fearlessness this car is good for, surprisingly, even with the stock tires.

The only Outback handling story I've heard was from a friend who told me her uncle was pushed off the road by an 18 wheeler turning into his lane on the interstate.

His OB rolled a few times and when it came to a stop, he got out, unhurt, and then bought another OB. I'm glad he tested it like that so I don't have to!

Honestly, I wouldn’t expect sports car handling from an Outback, although I’m certain it will easily outhandle any truck-based SUV. And I already own a sports car, so if I decide to expand my fleet I could possibly forego sports car handling in my other vehicles. :)

Rollover accidents are not something I spend a lot of time worrying about, due to their rarity, but it’s good to know that your friend’s OB protected him that well.
