When I see a little kid with helmut,elbow guards, knee pads and all the other paraphernalia I wonder how they are going to learn the laws of physics. Gravel rash was a good educational tool.
The law of physics exist only in textbooks and have nothing to do with everyday life. /s

Never had problems with my McCoys. My Fox .19 on the other hand.......
Never heard of those others you mentioned. Perhaps they came later. I stopped with the planes about 1960.
About 1967, my parents and I drove from Ohio to Ft. Huachuca, AZ to see my brother who was supposed to ship out soon.
My dad loaded up the 64 Buick for the 2 week vacation, but still found room to pack my flight box and 2 or 3 airplanes. (How many dads would do THAT for their kids - hauling those old dirty, sticky things all that way on a vacation?)
