I went to a gun show last Saturday. Most all of the .22LR available was lead round nose practice ammo (the kind that doesn’t feed well in semi-autos).
Finally came across a guy who was selling 100 count baggies of Winchester hollow points for $9 each. I bought two and left him with only two bags.
Its crazy, no doubt about it. I’m mostly just waiting for the panic buying to subside, but I’m not passing on the chance to buy if the opportunity presents itself at a reasonable price.
I found out this morning that the Cabelas website had the 2100 round cans of Federal 22 bulk ammo in yesterday for a (very) short time before it all got bought up.
