Yep. My local farm supply store has been out of .22s for MONTHS and we’re having a hard time getting ‘stingers’ for shooting troublesome coyote around here! I was FINALLY able to make a purchase through a private source, but just plain old 40 grain Remington .22s.

I’m kind of thinking that the retailers/manufacturers are LOVING this ‘supply and demand’ stuff. ;)

Double edged sword
High demand + no supply = zero sales

Wish I could spare you some stingers. I have a very few, and all the rest is Federal 36 gr hollow points. I shot a few at the range yesterday, and almost felt wasteful, lol.

No, as a gunstore owner and Evil retailer, I can categorically deny that we are not LOVING this “supply and demand” stuff. In fact, I know that many of my fellow evil retailers who are at the mercy of market forces will be barely making it in a couple of months. Here’s why: With nothing to stock, what will they be selling to pay the bills?

I have a little shop and only make a fraction of my income from retail as I am a gunsmith. If I was not a gunsmith I would be out of business in a few months at this rate.
