(Jason Howerton) An extremely disturbing video showing a mother physically restraining her crying toddler while he is seemingly given a tattoo has gone viral for all the wrong reasons. People across the globe are expressing outrage at the brazen act of what many are calling child abuse.
In the video, the toddler screams in agony as he is held down while one man draws the tattoo with a needle. At one point, the mother appears to say “mire, mire” — Spanish for “look.”
Hardcore dance music can be heard playing in the background for the duration of the video.

Child abuse, pure and simple. Even if the kid weren’t objecting, what right does the mother have to scar her child against his will for life?
Idiots. We once rescued a dog from LA area who had been made to wear earrings and still had the holes in the ears.
Some people don’t deserve to be on this earth. Plain and simple.
My daughters were never allowed tats of any kind. Not henna or pens...nothing. They were to never draw on their bodies and as a result they are now repulsed by them. They’re 19 and 16!
That video was horrific. I could not watch the entire thing.
And if she chose, only a few short months before, to have him killed in the womb, many people who were made uncomfortable with this video probably would not have objected!

I never imagined when I was a kid in the 80s that this nation would literally give me a migraine every fricking day!

I have always found tattoos repulsive even as a small kid. I will not hire model talent if they have any visible ones.
Part of it probably comes from me having a large and unsightly birthmark that I didn’t get a say in having. No doubt I will be chewed out for this view.
I just said the other day, I never thought I'd look back at the 80s and 90s as an age of innocence. We are degenerating at warp speed.
I wonder if people would think it’s okay if he had been given anesthetics. After all, boys get circumcised with and without anesthetics and that’s far more mutilating than a tattoo and a lot harder to reverse.

A half an hour of screaming in Walmart without touching the kid is not unusual.

Even if the kid wants a tattoo it is still wrong. This is pure child abuse.
Some people thought we weren’t “hard core” enough and dumped tons of sex and raunchy jokes on TV, gangsta rap on the radio and made “depression” a cool thing to have.

Reasons for a tattoo:
Some Afghan men were getting tattoos so their body parts could be identified if separated from their bodies due to bomb blasts.
So my poodle can be identified if lost (he gets the tattoo, not me).
And, lastly, if you want to take it with you when you go, get a tattoo.
Those are not reasons to decoratively tattoo a child.
I saw this video on Anderson Cooper’s show. How terrible. That poor child is scarred for life—in more ways than one.
Be that as it may, there are better reasons for circumcision than a decorative tattoo on a child.

Circumcision is a far different issue than this ridiculous tattooing. It is your opinion that the former is worse and more mutilating. When viewed in both a religious and medical view that is not what others conclude.
And no amount of pain relief will make it possible for this child to not carry this horrible marking that will make life miserable for countless years.

Tatoos are dirty looking in my opinion. Can’t stand them, especially on women.

There are NO good reasons to tattoo.
The 90s did indeed suck, but some of us who grew up then simply ignored the popular culture and lived our own lives.
I’m seeing more and more esp. on very pretty ladies. It is sad to me.
For what its worth, here is something I hired some capable and experienced talent for and is also anti-tattoo. She has done some pageant stuff in another state. Those alone put her high in my book. Being professional too is a big plus.
