Oddly the second half of my post didn’t post.

Yes, en bloc systems are different from both fixed and removable magazines in requiring the en bloc to be present to function. However, once loaded into the weapon, you have a complete magazine system. The clip forms the side walls and the feeding lips.

The question remains how the socialists will define “magazine capacity” for en blocs.
