Well I certainly didn’t say your were defending Mormonism.
It seemed you recieved some bad information about the LDS belief system, and I was only giving you some facts.
Most ex Mormons will tell you that Mormonism does not follow the Bible and in fact follows another gospel.
Mormons of course, will tell you they have the same God and that they are Christians.
No offence intended, sorry if you took my post to you wrong.

OK, you two....I do appreciate the tone and the attempt to clarify. I really do.
I’ll also take your word for it. I guess here’s how I see it, though.
No matter if Glenn’s “teachings”/stances/plans are somehow colored by his Mormonism, I guarantee that when he talks of God, turning to God, Jesus, etc....the VAST majority of his audience hears this in terms of true Christianity; IOW, not in a Mormon context. We all believe that God is the answer to this country’s problems; that we all need to turn to the Lord...the true Jesus.
That is what I hear and how I hear it, and as I said, that’s how most (if not all) of his audience hears it. I can certainly think of worse things, and anyone who urges this nation to turn back to God and His Son (again, no matter his own ‘definitions’), that has a positive effect.
That said....I’ll be sure to keep my eyes/ears more open for any such influences. Thanks again. :)
They would be wrong and you are wrong.
It does matter.
Because people think Beck is talking about the Biblical God and do not know he is talking about the lds god........it is easy for them to be caught in mormonism.
If you a stated Christian (Biblical) does not appear to have a problem with this when you know what is happening, how do you think the people who do not know will react.
It is truly sad, that there are Christians that think this way....no wonder so many people are lost - Christ is not new ageism, we all have our own path gobbly gook.
