A report from 2011 shows that Penn State Athletics not only self supported, but turn a profit. If indeed this is true, then there is no cost to taxpayers, and no money diverted from highways/bridges, etc...

I think the fellow poster was referring to the costs of filing and pursuing the suit to the state of Pennsylvania.

Penn State University has nothing to do with the filing of this lawsuit - in fact the milquetoast morons in charge have practically disavowed it.
