Looks pretty simple.
There are quite a few recipes for homemade peanut butter online. One of the easiest I’ve seen is using roasted peanuts (unsalted, 1 cup), peanut oil (a few tablespoons), salt and sugar (to taste), put into a blender (or food processor) and ground until smooth.
What you need is a good food processor such as a Vitamix, a bag of peanuts, and some salt--probably about a teaspoon. just grind up the peanuts and salt, and you've got peanut butter.
I make my own peanut butter or buy brands such as Laura Scudder's, made solely from peanuts and salt.
Absolutely, there are several reipes if you want to “google”.
Here’s one:
First roast the nuts in a 350 degree oven on a baking sheet for 10 to 15 minutes; making sure they do not get too brown.
You will need a blender or food processor and some oil. Peanut oil, olive oil, coconut oil, or even a little butter if you like.
3 1/2 cups peanuts, roasted
1/2 tsp kosher salt(more or less to taste)
2tsp honey or maple syrup
3-4 Tbls oil (your preference)
Combine peanuts, salt, and honey in food processor fitted with a chopping blade. Process for 30 seconds, then while processor is running drizzle in oil and process 30 seconds. If peanut butter is too dry or thick, drizzle in the 4th Tablespoon. If you want it really easy to spread, and a little more honey and/or oil.
That’s all it takes.
