Wasn’t Cooper the one who coined that derogatory term for the tea party movement?
The term was old, the rats just hung it around the neck of conservatives. But I got into knockdown, drag down fight with a hysterical lib who claimed it was “The discourse of serious dissent”. Turned out that that particular insaniac was a federal justice.
I had never heard the term until it was mentioned by the lovely and ever gracious (cough) Janeane Garofolo when she used it to describe members of the Tea Party as she was calling them Neo-Nazis and racists. Such a sweet young lady, eh?
