The over usage of the word “like” borders on criminal and insane. “So I was like...” Other words are “literally” and “amazing.” The combination of “like literally” or “literally like” is painful.

I agree with you on the over use of the word “like”. It is so widespread that now it is revolting! The word “exactly” used to bother me but I am hearing that less and less. “Whatever” doesn't bother me because I can understand the meaning, it means “so what” but the insertion of “like” into every sentence is nuts!
