I don’t think so. He seems pretty well spoken the few times that I’ve heard him talk. At one time, he was a high school teacher.

Yes Teller is simply playing a character. If you catch their Vegas show,they come out and meet&greet the audience afterward. Teller is very personable.

Supposedly he influenced Penn Gillette on being libertarian.
