The factoid that no one is talking about is our antimissile system can NOT stop the majority of the missiles that are likely to be fired against Turkey.

The Patriot System is effective against theater type missiles (SCUDS, etc.). The more numerous tactical missiles, like those which are being fired against Israel, are not the target class the Patriot is designed to counter.

I would be ROFLMA if Turkey had to ask Israel for its IRON DOME system to defend itself against Syrian missiles armed with chemical warheads.
