I just emailed NBS , telling them I turned off the game and WHY! I told them to tell their sponsors why I shut the game off.

Well, it’s a lot more likely that Jovan Belcher would be alive, anyway. Without a gun, his options for killing his girlfriend would be: 1) stabbing her, 2) strangling her, 3) beating her to death, 4) running her over with his car, 5) others that I can’t think of right away.
OTOH, without a gun it would have been a lot harder to off himself in front of his coaches, and he would probalby have to answer for his actions in this life along with the next.

The NFL Network, which is owned by the NFL, ran a commercial against beating women (as if anyone is for that) starring Obama during the election campaign. Between the Rooney rule, blackballing Rush Limbaugh from ownership, I think the NFL is becoming another liberal organization.
Just another reason I change the channel or put it on mute when Bob “Facelift-and-hair-dye” Costas comes on TV.

From the accounts I have heard, the guy snapped as a result of a on-going, long-heated argument with his girlfriend [they even separated about a month ago before just getting back together].

I agree with the other poster who said we need to “respectively” (well, as best you can) explain to NBC corporate, that you hope the ratings for that game (regardless of who is playing or winning at the time) went in the toilet after that assinine comment...
The benefit of this liberal/socialist diatribe is that it DOES etch the line deeper and deeper for us who DO understand the ramifications of pushing our buttons without any regard to the law of the land, you know, that pesky little thing called the Constitution, and it’s Bill of Rights...
