CDC’s out of wedlock birth rate for Hispanics is 80.6 out of 1,000 (8%). And 45% of all Americans don’t have tax liability because they don’t have high enough incomes. Mexicans do not come to the US, whether legally or not, to collect welfare. They come here for jobs and a better life for their tight-knit families. Keep driving that wedge between whites and Hispanics and we’ll never see any of that vote back.
My bad. Birth rate is 80.6/1000, but your number of 53% of Hispanic births to unwed mothers is correct.

Note that my friend Gil, whom I referenced elsewhere in this thread is native born. His parents were legal immigrants from Mexico, coming here in the 1940's. Neither he nor his parents (both now deceased) took any form of welfare.
I think it is important to realize that Hispanics are not a monolithic group, much less all immigrants.
