I have never been more sure of the fact that time is quickly ticking away.
Obama has sold out the Middle East to Islamic fundamentalists and has put Israel in the position that it will eventually have to act in a big way. I would say if you see Syria starting to act up towards Israel then head for the hills. This may take the form of a coup by Fundies or by Syria acting aggressively to regain control and respect within the region.
Do not fear God has all our backs! Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and for their turning to Christ.
