IIRC early in Obama’s first term there was some loony congressman who introduced legislation to amend the Constitution to enable more than two terms. Don’t know where that is, but it would not surprise me to see some movement in that area.
IIRC it was Jose Serrano from the Bronx. It met with quite a bit of approval in NYC Dem circles but no one put his/her name to his motion. And yes Serrano is loony in a non enetertaining way.
