I’ve been thinking about getting Apple TV, but I’ve been concerned about streaming issues. There are times that youtube drives me up the wall.
I think I’ll call Apple today.
I love Apple TV, but you definitely need a good wireless router. I had an older router that just wasn’t cutting it. Lots of drop-outs in streaming - especially on Youtube.
When I got Apple’s Airport Extreme it cleared 95% of that up. Every now and then it happens, but clears up very quickly.
Since getting the aiport extreme I have never had Netflik drop out or freeze and Youtube only rarely has a problem. Huluplus is the only one that still has drop outs occasionally, but nothing like it was before. Usually it also clears up.
As I said, I am very happy with the system now and I highly recommend it.
