Vanity: Candy Crowley and Chris Christie probably cost Romney the election.
11/6/2012 | barryobi

Candy Crowley ruined the second debate with her interference, CBS withheld damning video of Obama on 9/12 denying the Benghazi attack was terrorism. Romney was thrown off his game by the MSM covering for Obama.

After Sandy, Chris Christie injected himself into the campaign by shamelessly giving Obama wet sloppy kisses when he toured the Jersey shore after Sandy. I think this may have hurt Romney more than we all know, because the MSM ran three straight days of Christie/Obama giving each other wet sloppy kisses.

There just wasn’t one big thing, people don’t realize what is coming down the pike - unemployment numbers will adjust back from the BS BLS numbers in september, employers will start to drop healthcare pay the fine and put people onto 0bamacare, the debt will rise, military spending will decrease causing the layoffs, etc.

Apparently Americans have not felt enough pain yet, after the next 2 years of Obama people will be begging for a new president.

Liberal socialist journalists and liberal news networks beat Romney.
Also, throw in the mix liberal entertainers.

How do you compete with that nonstop propaganda and indoctrination.

Good point Joshua. You know, I was worried about the dire predictions coming to fruition under a President Romney. After the collapse, and 4 more miserable years, I don’t think the electorate will blame or even remember anything bad about George Bush. I could be wrong though, people are that stupid I’m afraid.

Oh well, all I ask Jesus for is a strong heart to remain faithful because it’s gonna be really really hard when reality becomes harsher beyond what any of us can remotely imagine. Lord have mercy

Staying quiet on Benghazi was a bet. It seemed right at the time, but it turned out to be a mistake. Could Romney have lost any worse if he had pounded Obamugabe on it?!

I dated a Colombian woman for 3 years, naturalized US citizen, pro-life, pro-family, great job, strong work ethic, personally responsible, etc...but as left as they come...totally wedded to the Dem party, and was more proud to be Latin than American...we have a big problem in this country, people are not Americans anymore, they celebrate their ethnicity first...and people do not understand that there are just huge portions of this country who see nothing wrong with illegal immigration...to them it is noble that someone wants to come here and they celebrate them doing it illegally...and yes, I’m a gringo, blanquito, whatever her family called me.....and FUCC (my gov)...at least he didnt need kneepads as the sand was soft enough..

Obamacare was what got the masses fired up in 2010 and was off the table as soon as Mitt was the nominee.

This.

On the positive side, it appears that some folks on this site are rediscovering their conservatism.

The 47 percenters took over tonight. But with Obama in for four more years
I agree that it will jump up above 50 percent. That will be the base the
Democrats rely on in national elections in the future.

Please! Do not blame Romney or the GOP. Blame your fellow Americans (and illegals) and the MSM. As between Romney and Obama, any rational, patriotic American would chose Romney. Santorum, Bachman, Palin, Gingrich — none of these potential candidates would have done any better. Let’s stop worrying about Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow and concentrate on holding the MSM accountable for their lies and their phony narratives.

“Apparently Americans have not felt enough pain yet, after the next 2 years of Obama people will be begging for a new president.”

Do you think there will be a limit on the deficit, though? As far as I can tell, there really hasn’t been, and believe me, the deficit has been on steroids as compared to previous years. (Bush years). What will force Congress not to continue spending?

As a female, I agree. I started a near riot in the office Monday when I said I thought women shouldn't be allowed to vote. Of course the irony was lost on the female who had just moments earlier declared that JFK was elected because he was “frickin’ hot.”

Romney lost because he was playing not to lose.

He did not explain why:

1. debt and deficits would cripple our economy.

2. Obamacare was bad.

3. America heading toward European socialism was bad.

4. Obama’s foreign policy was bad (Benghazi SHOULD have killed Obama!).

Obama won because enough people are still blaming Bush for the economic troubles and enough women were scared into thinking that Romney was going to take away contraceptives. Obama also won because the media did an exceptional job in protecting him and the GOP remains CLUELESS in how to combat a media that is openly hostile.

And it also helps for Obama when such a large portion of the American electorate is absolutely clueless and want as much free stuff as they can from the government.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their President.”

Like I’ve said, it’s demographics. It wasn’t any one particular event. The tide has turned, and it’s not coming back in the GOP’s favor ever.

Bingo. Correct Answer.

And Ogabe has a massive amnesty as a priority for this term, to even further accelerate our trip to national oblivion.

Yes, he did. He said on day one he would send every state a waiver to opt out of Obamacare. Obama didn’t even have an agenda, and yet the fools in this country re-elected him anyway. Our country is dumb as dumb can be.

Totally agree. Simple as that. Disappointed as I am, at least know we know for sure. There was no silent majority or Chik-Fil-A groundswell.

There are more of them than us. Period.

Nah, Romney never made the Constitutional/Liberty/Freedom explaination to retrain the populace as to their best interests.

It really doesn’t matter if it were Romney, Palin or Reagan.

This country has degenerated into a society of takers. They are already lining up to get their Obama phones, Obamacare, Obama housing, Obama food, and whatever else they feel they are entitled to. All “free” of course.

When the celebration is over, say around January 21,2013, the bill will come due.

When Fiat announces they are pulling not only Jeep production but also Chrysler production out of the US. Closes plants in the midwest and imports Chryslers from Italy.

“To counter the severe slump in European sales, (Fiat CEO Sergio) Marchionne is considering building Chrysler models in Italy, including Jeeps, for export to North America. The Italian government is evaluating tax rebates on export goods to help Fiat.” Bloomberg Oct.29,2012.

When GM continues to lose market share and needs another bail-out while building new plants in China and moving their production facilities overseas.

“Joel Ewanick (GM Marketing Officer) announced on thursday, that General Motors will begin to build 3 new Models of the Cadillac Brand in China. GM sold more than 3 Million Vehicles in China last Year and is now planning to move the production of the Cadillac CTS, the all new ATS and Cadillac’s new luxury sedan, the XTS, to China.” CNN April 14, 2012

When the unemployment rate reaches 18% and college is no longer affordable for most Americans.

When all the lives lost in Iraq and Afghanistan are for naught because AlQuida and the Muslim Brotherhood are firmly in power.

When Iran tests it’s first nuclear device and puts Israel firmly in it’s crosshairs.

We will look back on this night and shake our collective heads on what might have been.

No it won’t. There is no money to pay for it. Everyone seems to forget this. We are to the tipping point. No money left it has to collapse The one bright spot is that the party that caused it will be in power when it collapses. No way to blame it on the right. They will own it.

____________________________________________________________

That is a really good point that I haven’t seen anyone else make. I have been thinking for a while that even if Romney won, and I truly believed he was going to, it would only prolong the collapse a little while. We still haven’t seen the full effects of what Obama has done in his first term. I don’t think Romney would have turned things around. I don’t think anyone could put in place the policies that need to be put in place to stop what is coming. It’s like Rush Limbaugh always says, “In the end, the American people get what they want”. And After tonight they will get just what they deserve. Your comment has brought me a little peace on this otherwise black night.
