I think they may be despondent compared to you for the same reason a man is despondent after losing his job and his very young kids don’t understand the gravity of the situation.
Two weeks before the election of 2008 I bought a small farm in central Kentucky. In August of last year I moved here from my home of 45 years, Seattle. I’ve seen what the last four years brought, but they were nothing compared to what will come. The country and world are teetering on the edge now, and there is no solution in sight. It would not have been much better if Romney had won. In fact, maybe we needed Obama to stay in office long enough to remove all doubt about who he is.
When I moved to KY I did it in the spirit of Revelation 18:4. I am not despondent. Rather, I am a student of biblical prophesy. The Lord will prevail and His promise of eternity is real, but His word clearly teaches that it will get worse before it gets better.
In fact, it will be the worst time in the history of mankind, and there have been some pretty bad times. Most people wish to avoid that kind of pain. But only those who see it coming concern themselves about it.
I, for one, believe that God is in control and I am at peace with the result. God has given America the government they wanted. The prayers of the selfish, lazy, covetous God-rejecting masses have been answered.
God is in control. Those who do not fear God have the most to fear.
I am a believer. I have been down tonight and I thank God that He understands my frailty and human response.
God governs the affairs of man. NOTHING happens without His Perfect will.In fact His Word lays out what is happening in the world right now. We as believers know that.
It's just that we had so hoped and PRAYED for this to change at least temporarily.
We WILL WIN......God's Word says so.

Like I have said repeatedly tonight... we get 4 more years of holder and obama... obamacare... single payer... death panels... 70% tax rates... no coal or nuclear... 10 trillion in new debt... $10.00 gas... Stock market crashed... dollar devalued... USA Bond rating of B... surrender to mexico and iran and the abandonment of Israel... and the war on whites... yes I said it... the war on whites. Listen to what bob beckel said about their plans for us on Fox tonight. These people intend to destroy us along with America. I do not see how they can be stopped. The political solution is no longer viable... we lost our last election tonight carville was finally right... except there will be nothing left in 40 years.

If he somehow doesn’t own anything, and somehow four years was not enough to pin anything on him, why would eight? Why couldn’t he blame whatever’s next on Bush the Younger, same as now?
