I wanted to vote 2013 back in November of 2008...but I do strongly, STRONGLY believe unless you can prove you will not be available to vote on National Election Day, and only IF you are doing something FOR this country, i.e. military overseas, Foreign Service for the Dos, whatever, you vote on election day or you do not vote.

Sorry, having cruise tickets does not work.

I remember being a young Marine stationed overseas during a presidential election and felt honored, special, for being able to vote without pulling a curtain back....because I could not be there while serving my country. I thought we were special then.

You were special then as are our troops today. Do you know if your vote was actually counted? Our troops overseas and at home will both be under-represented again this year thanks to the dims in nearly every state putting obstacles in their path. It burns my a** every time I think about it
