Minnesota-lite.
They are envious of their sophisticated northern neighbors.
They are highly educated, but have not experienced the downside of liberalism and crime yet, in that they are a hard-working populace.
Nascent progressives, whose bubble has not yet burst. IMHO.
the problem with intrade is they don’t have to be US Citizens
If Romney is really ahead by 5% in the popular vote he is not going to lose the electoral colloge.

I follow Intrade, somewhat. This year I actually signed up and have an account. Something didn’t look right so I never sent money. I would have loved to pick up Romney in the 30’s but then it went to the low 20’s. At an almost 5 to 1 shot I was ready but still didn’t feel right. Romney has picked up almost 20 points in the last week. That does seem right. Me thinks someone is elling short cover the big Obama “bust”.
There is a legal betting site for US bettors at:

I don’t know how selling short would work on InTrade. I just watch it for another view of the odds on the election. Somehow their odds makers have not been correct in the races I’ve watched. They were against Scott Brown, Allan West and wrong on the Wisconsin recall of Scott Walker. I wonder where they get the money to pay off ...sports, probably.
I thought that immediately. There was no way Barry was up that much against Romney. All the polls were showing otherwise. It had to have been a Soros or someone rich enough to keep that number artificially high.
