The truth is some guys are money players, like Jackson and his antagonist Martin were, and some are not like A Roid, Cano, Swisher (perfectly named) and a few others.
The Yanks are done, not just for this season but it is looking like a return to the period following 64 when they were old, broken down and had nothing in the farm system to bring up. Both the Red Sucks and the Yanks have fallen from the upper tier and will be missing for a while as they try to rebuild the dynasties again.
