Romney Video

I know there are many many people still on this forum who proclaim daily how they won't vote for Mitt Romney etc. I was one of them. EVeryone knows that. I changed my mind some time ago in a lukewarm way, but really got enthusiastically behind his candidacy when he nominated Paul Ryan. That told me that the man means business.

My fellow FRs. Please watch this video. I know it's been posted on here before. I just saw it for the the first time this AM. Watch it and pass it on.

This man can truly, along with solid conservatives from both parties, can bring this country roaring back. There is no doubt about it.

There is no way Obama will win this election. No way. The people of this country gave the man a chance. We all thought he could do it. I was on board for the first few days until it was very clear that we had someone in the office who was there only because he was black.

Please watch this video and send it to your friends, and people who are not sure about Mitt Romney.

This video is very well done. I love it when they use old home movies in things like this.

And you’ve got people like Chuck Norris, Dineish D’Souza, Clint Eastwood, and many more explaining that the U.S. is going down the tubes to socialism and 3rd world status if the bums aren’t voted out, so why would anyone sit out the vote instead of saving our country.

What I learned in the 2016 movie was that we had 5,000 nuclear warheads to protect this country and obama has dropped that to 1500 so far, with plans to drop it to 300 by the end of the year and NONE if re-elected. At 1500 we are tied with Russia, at 300 we are UNDER most other countries and at ZERO we are DEAD.

Please vote and vote out the current occupants!

I laughed out loud at the light bulb shaded by the tin foil and duct tape.

.....but really got enthusiastically behind his candidacy when he nominated Paul Ryan.

That pick impressed me too. Ryan's not black, not a woman, not from Florida, not an Oihoan.

Romney went to the NAACP and didn't pander to them. Then Romney surprised me further when he said he would fire Ben Bernanke.

Look, we're not going to get everything we want from this guy, not right away. We need not make the same mistake the Dems did with Obama, in trying to get everything done at once. We must think long term, and be patient. I'm not sure we have any other choice.

But I'm warming to this guy Romney too. I judge him by what he does now instead of what he says, and I could be wrong about this, but I don't judge him by what he did in Massachussetts, either. I have friends down here from Boston, and they are staunch conservatives, but they tell me that Mass is an absolute bastion of liberalism, a "nutty" kind of liberalism (I know, I know) that it must have been difficult for Romney to deal with.

Comforts me to read posts like yours. Thank you.

I this kind of stuff is good. It’s important to restore respectability and leadership to the office. I think, however, that there might be too much emphasis on the Romneys’ personally. They are great people. I have nothing against them, but this election isn’t about them, at least in my mind. The election is about us, our future, and that of posterity. I was really disappointed in Romney’s acceptance speech because he didn’t talk that much about the problems and the solutions, but about himself for more than half of it. It’s true, he’s no Ronald Reagan, but he could at least take a queue from how he approached both his election and the office - with humility and common sense, free market principles.

Initially, once it appeared Romney had sewed up the nomination, I was gravitating toward the Constitution Party and Virgil Goode. After much thought about what`s at stake, I reassessed whether this was wise at this point in time. Then I attended that VP announcement rally in Norfolk, observed Romney and Ryan standing on that stage, and I realized these two men, the only barrier to the 0bamination getting four more years to drag America asunder, are in to win.
I`ve always been impressed with Ryan, but the more I see of Romney, the more I`m liking. He isn`t my ideal candidate, but he is far more accomplished, qualified and capable than the jug-eared POS who occupies the White House at present.
Romney and Ryan..if America will give them the opportunity and a GOP-led Congress.. will do great work in turning this country back onto the right course.
