Where have the teachers gone? In part, they have been dying off or giving up. Others are so busy fighting the good fight, they do not have the time to post. Sadly, many no longer have the patience to teach. Any attempt to do so any more yields, at best, a vitriolic response from the prospective student. Honestly, I think many of those you would have labeled teachers are still here, they have simply become silent in self-defense.

My kids are now 18 and 20. I used to create homeschool lessons from these posts.
If I tried to do that now, the only thing they would learn that the correct response to an argument is to tell people to go to hell and to ban them.
