where would I find a video card if it has one?

Both of the memory chips gave the same result, no change to the reason I posted this thread

Laptops usually don’t have a video card.

What kind of machine are you posting on now?

They might be ways to work with it?

If you have a memory problem it should show up on the POST. But if you have the POST shortcutted in the BIOS you will get no codes or beeps. Disable FASTBOOT in your BIOS before you do anything with your drive. Then you will get some good info on your hardware situation.

Well, I’m stuck. Did you try inserting that recovery disk you found and starting it?
