Medal of Honor recipient slams Supremes
WND ^ | July 25, 2012 | Maj. Gen. Patrick Brady

Posted on 07/25/2012 8:39:28 PM PDT by jwsea55

The Supreme Court recently opined (before they skipped town) on three issues important to America: immigration, health care and military honor (the Stolen Valor Act). I use the word opine because that is what we got – the opinions of nine politically appointed elites, political hacks if you will, as they tried to wrap the Constitution around their biases. Common-sense Americans believe they got most of the three decisions wrong and for good reason; they are not common-sense Americans.

We are in trouble. We have a professorial, rhetorical celebrity for president, a commander in chief who knows not the difference between a Corps and a corpse, who has a remarkable contempt for the law and the Constitution; a professorial elitist Supreme Court that rewrites laws and the Constitution to suit liberal agendas; and a Senate that has not passed a budget in three years. But of the three branches, the most dangerous to constitutional America is the Supreme Court.

As Thomas Jefferson said: “… the germ of dissolution of our Federal Government is in the constitution of the Federal Judiciary – an irresponsible body (for impeachment is scarcely a scare-crow), working like gravity by night and by day, gaining a little today and a little tomorrow, and advancing its noiseless step like a thief over the field of jurisdiction until all shall be usurped from the States and the government be consolidated into one.” President Lincoln warned about the dangers to a people ruled by courts.

Romney needs to be saying things like this.

Newt is the only one who has taken on the Supremes. Romney does not have the mental acumen or the backbone.

” - - - ..but then how does someone decent run such a negative campaign...can’t he [Romney] win on his own ideas? “

Okay, sorry ‘bout that. It was later and I had a slight brain cramp. Sorry.

Romney has been the target of my DUMP ROMNEY Campaign for awhile now, as a pretty boy prep schooler does not have much of a chance to beat a hardened, commune-loving, Chicaguh-gangstah, Incumbent Obama.

Lately however, Romney has started to behave as if he really DOES want to soundly defeat Obama. Romney’s VFW Speech was his best yet.

Hopefully, Romney’s brilliant staff of Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarvud birdbrains are no longer writing Romney’s speeches, bragging about no backbone etch-a-sketch flexibility, and the mindless “I don’t think, [NEVER use that phrase], that Obama understands this Economy. I do understand this economy.” [In other words, I don’t have to tell you voters what I am going to do, so just shut up and vote for me].

Romney had his PAC attack the Conservatives in the Primary, while he made his backyard, prep-school digs at how everybody else was not as smart as he was.

Needless to say, his Primary victories were lukewarm at best, even with the usually essential negative ads. Why do negative ads work? Because they create doubt in the minds of voters who think that THEIR candidate is better than the other candidates.

Can Romney win by his own ideas? That is what I have been waiting to see. Romney has FIFTY NINE economic points that are his master plan. IMHO that is about 54 to many points.

Unless Romney can come up with what his plan is so that voters can count the points on the fingers of just ONE hand, Romney will be seen as a smart guy with an unweildy, AND unworkable economic plan.

Major General Brady has proven himself to be the type of leader that patriots will follow into the gates of Hell.

The jury is still out on Romney - - - .

Please accept my apology, as well. Those damn dangling pronouns from prior posts...and it being late at night, long days and all...but when do normal busy people have the time read and post.

I know, Romney needs to get real on people reading 59 points (let alone understanding them). I roll my eyes at the thought of even reading that. The problem is not that complicated. Gov is too big and overreaching. As Reagan said the 13 scariest words in the English language, "I am here from the government and I am here to help you". Let's just pick a point in time (1962 maybe) and do a factory reset on what government is.

People need to understand why we have corruption, it is about power and money. Is the solution to the problem giving politicians more power and more money? Politicians use the tax code and regulation to create bidding wars between vested interest groups to perpetuate themselves and their lust for campaign donations. Would people need to give politians money for influencing the tax code if we had a flat (or consumtion) tax and there was nothing to influence?

The strength and voracity of Romney's negative campaign is an indication that at least he wants to win (vs the last guy who ran for the republicans). I at least think he understands what he is up against with people out of Chicago.
