“I like being poor. My basic needs are met, since we have always been frugal, have not a penny of debt, and dont want luxuries or many things people consider necessities. We did scrimp and due to good fortune were able to buy s small acreage (of course Id like something bigger, preferably adjoining national forest but if wishes were horses beggars would ride) and built as we lived on it. Of course if I somehow came into money Id find uses for it, as well as the opportunity to donate to worthy causes. Im not penniless, we had some $ for dental work earlier, but heck - there are always vet pliars!”
Yeah, you sound really poor with that acreage, vanity dental work, tax-deductible donations, and retirement accounts. I bet you are really a poor guy taking personal offense to my original post.
Acreage? A few acres bought with cash in a cheap area.
Vanity dental work? Nope, saved a couple of teeth, ha, you couldn’t call it “vanity” if you saw ‘em.
Donations? I said I wish I could.
Personal offense at your criticism of poor people? Nope. You should only criticize those sucking govteat, though.
