According to the article, they can transfer without penalty, and if they choose to stay, can keep their scholarship whether they play or not. I’m pleased with that, at least.
The football players at these schools are some of the most pampered people on earth. Many schools have luxury dorms, and special cafeterias for these guys. Not to mention they have people who write their papers, and do their assignments for them. For this they play a game so that alumni and others can live vicariously through them. I care far more for the kids that work a job, take classes, do their own work.
the players are still allowed to play football at penn state or any college that would have them . If they are talented enough they will rise above the other players and have an opportunity in the nfl . They still get a free education at pennstate or any college that would have them. They can take their scholarship to any college even though that school already has the maximum 85. The only embarrassment for them is the possibility of losing to IU at homecoming. Go IU.
