It seems like all the girls I used to think were hot (Mary Ann, Marcia Brady, Princess Leia etc.) turned out to be drugged up floozies. They also got old while I am still young and in great shape.

Well at least I never turned into a druggie.

Ender’s Game?!!! They’re making a movie about Ender’s Game?!!!! I am sorry, but I have serious questions as to whether or not I would watch it out of concern that Hollywood may not have what it takes to capture the nature of the novel. Hunger Games, which has a similar premise, was a decent film, but I hope that you have someone who is really familliar with what made the novel enjoyable making the film.

Loved his style of dialogue, in fact, if there’s anyone who really set the mold for what a politician/salesman in a movie should sound like, Billy Dee Williams was one of those people.

I don’t get it - there is no part of the article about Carrie Fisher?

Hamill looks better than I thought he would. Not too long after the series, he was aging and had that hatchet-mark look all over his face, deep lines all over. I guess chunking out a bit helped solve that problem.

Gavin Hood is directing it. He directed X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Apparently he’s a big fan of the book, so hopefully the movie won’t be terrible.

Good grief. Has it really been 35 years? I remember taking my first wife (God rest her soul) and our daughter to see the first of the Star Wars movies. It seems like yesterday. Where has my life gone?

I am pretty sure that he was involved in a serious car accident while filming the first Star Wars that involved facial damage. They had to do some re-writing of the script.

If I had to be shipwrecked on an uncharted desert Isle, Mary Ann would certainly be among my first choices ad a fellow passenger.

Maybe so but if they bring back Jabba the Hut, she can play that character with no makeup.

I met Dawn Wells last year at a film convention in Butler, Pennsylvania. She's still a looker.
