The linked story (see the end) relates to India.
Not sure what country this blog is located in,...will work on that.

Is this report supposed to obfuscate a huge shortage of CORN?

My thoughts exactly. I just heard yesterday that the price of meat and dairy are going to rise because of the corn shortage. Too many conflicting messages.

Excellent! Cap’n Crunch for EVERYONE!
Except the poor. They can live with Cheerios.

Hey, I looked in the Burpee’s Seed catalog and they don’t have any Chex, Honey Oats or Trix seeds. Do you think just planting a box of cereal in the garden would work?

Would that mean the price of cereal would go down?

Yes, in New Delhi.

I just know that the fields in Illinois, Iowa, and Nebraska look like August after a heat wave. The drought and heat are terrible. The crops are barely there (thanks to some being watered by irrigation). If you love corn or wheat it is going to be a very short year

Silly me. I thought cereals were manufactured from grains and other contents. I really didn’t know you could just go out and harvest Cheerios.
Someone tell me how to plant Chocolate Cheerios.
