I love in bullhead City, AZ. Though to be the hottest point in the US. Today, it was about 130 degrees. it’s been horrible. At Davis Camp, about 1/2 mile from whe I live away the electronic thermometer said 140 degrees. I don’t think it was broke.

I used to run the Colorado River (Lee's Ferry to Temple Bar) back in the 60s. I know how hot it can get down there. However, 120 was the highest I ever saw. The thermometer broke. Don't know whether the heat caused it to break but it was hot.

My liberal sister lives in Bullhead. She turned out to be the only liberal in the family. She spent too much time in school getting a Master's degree.

I was Bullhead City a decade ago when it was 125, but Death Valley, California holds the record for the hottest "offical" high temp in North America at 136 degrees. It was a balmy 122 at Furnace Creek in Death Valley today (I live nearby).
