She might be a liberal but I don’t get any impressions one way or the other but the fact that she’s been in a stable marriage for more than 20 years is a good sign.

Benatar is not a Liberal, nor is her husband Neil. I read her autobiography last year. She says that while they do have friends in the business who are Libs (many other musicians), they have different values and always put family first.
Pat does not tour between September and May (very minimally) because her girls are at school and she wants to be there as an involved parent for them.
(The girls are now 27 and 18 years of age, so Pat is now free to tour more during the year), but she’s done this since they were babies. The girls also went with them on tour in the summer months.)
