Ralph Waldo Emerson goes to see Thoreau, who is sitting in jail, and asks him "Henry, what are you doing in there?" to which Thoreau replies "Waldo, the question is what are you doing out there?".
They can't jail us all.
No, just shoot the first 10 dissenters in each town, and the rest will fall in line.
WWRD. (What would Rambo Do?)
They haven’t disarmed us yet. That wouldn’t work.
But in a disarmed society, you’re correct.
His “Resistance to Civil Government” should be read by all here at FR. Thoreau felt, by going to jail, that he was the only one who had paid his tax. We shall pay our tax, a benefit to all of our great nation, by standing up to the tyranny! Our forefathers would have been shooting by now!
No, but 0bama made sure they could slap us with a $5000 fine. I wonder what Thomas Paine or Patrick Henry would have to say about this? I doubt that their response would suggest peaceful noncompliance.

To that I would answer with the next shot heard round the world.
I am fairly certain how our Founding Fathers would respond to it.
Stalin didn't jail the dissenters in Ukraine. He simply cut off the entire region and let the people inside starve.
We’ll all be in there soon enough. They may not be able to jail us all, but that’s what concentration camps are for.
