US President Barack Obama has ordered the US Navy and Air Force to accelerate preparations for a limited air offensive against the Assad regime and the imposition of no-fly zones over Syria, DEBKAfile reports. Their mission will be to knock out Assad’s central regime and military command centers so as to shake regime stability and restrict Syrian army and air force activity for subduing rebel action and wreaking violence on civilian populations.
I’m still waiting for the tanks that Saddam Hussein amassed on the Syrian border to attack.
The Republicans need to get the War Powers Act declared UNCONSTITUTIONAL or have it repealed.
It’s ABSOLUTELY STUPID to have a constraint like this only apply to Republicans (and risk going to jail for ignoring it), when it’s clear that Democrats have no interest at all in obeying it (either Obama or Clinton).
Maybe the Muslim Brotherhood is leaning on Obama again, as they obviously did for Egypt.
They are getting impatient for the full takeover of North Africa and the ME.
We should mind our own business, but Obama's business has become the expansion of the the Muslim Brotherhood and other transnational Islamists. The US military has become the shock troops being used to create the Greater Caliphate.
Where's the UN permission like Bush needed for Iraq...despite the fact that Iraq was violating the conditional surrender.
Time to go after those pesky Christians in Syria, and rid the country of them.

Our Military has possibly been forced to punt (imho). Though, I too, would prefer to play defense till the first missile is fired from iran, china, or russia.
