They were refueling satellites. THe bio-suits are for hydrazine. THat is in-space rocket fuel.

I think it’s not going to be as sexy as people want to think it is.
Probably exposing defense electronics and materials to long term exposure to space for testing and the rare opportunity for retrieval to examine them which generally never happens.
