In 1973 I scored 1440 on the SAT, 720 math and 720 verbal. I saw through this narcissistic poser from the start.

Dear Mr. 1440,
Hate (actually love) to rain on a fine young fellow's parade, but by your era, the SAT's had already gone through several rounds of dumb-down. Sorry.

However, for a person of your generation, this was a damned fine achievement. Good on the Maths, especially.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled Obama-bash.
Of course the young Barry was a terrible student in HS, and had very sub-par SATs, and very low grades. Must have been a bit of a pariah at olde Punahou, which is a pretty darn good school.
This is why he was shipped off to Ho-Hum Occidental in the first place, instead of the Ivy League.

In that era, any young fellow with a medium melanin component and even semi-decent grades and reasonably credible SATs would have been a shoo-in for a free ride at New England's finest colleges.

However, it was at olde Occidental that he fell under the sway of the Gay Activist, overtly Communist Mentor, Professor Lawrence Goldyn.

Which leads to an interesting question: Goldyn was (is) good pals with Ayers. Did Ayers know Obama through Goldyn, or vice versa? This just gets curioser and curioser.
