Except for Newt, Romney was never driven anywhere to be forced to come up with more than the usual platitudes. He remains a policy mystery on a wing and a prayer...

Well said. And that's why Congressional elections are just as critical with a Romney win as an Obama reelection. What too many "sitting out the election" types won't acknowledge is Romney is malleable while Obama is a committed ideologue.

I sure hope you’re right, that you think Romney is maleable and not a committed ideologue. I believe that is certainly what he hopes we think.

I am a hard@$$, I know, and stubborn to a fault. I need a record that says what I want it to say and a long one at that. Myth hasn’t got a thing I want on record, and the rest he keeps a mystery, hidden behind platitudes and neutralized comments. He never says anything.

Romney’s policy record is Obama in spades, but Romney was first to get it done. Now those issues are in the hands of the Supreme Court, thanks be to God. We just don’t know him beyond his record. Oh, well. We’ve been down this road before and haven’t learned. :)
