sorry, but i don’t see the joke, quite apart from the clownish demeanor part, and:

wow, can you see any other president great or not great making such a clown of himself?
I also don’t understand what the point or punch line of the joke is.

But I agree, that was not funny or understandable.
In all honesty, (and I have felt this way since Reagan was president) if I were POTUS, I'd tell the White House correspondents to have there party without me.
I'm not a prude by any means, but it always seemed to me demeaning to the office to have a President standing there pretending to be Henny Youngman or Sheckey Green.
It's far past time that we need some class in that office and screw the entertainment industry.
If the press don't like that, well -- tough!
