To me the point of the dog eating controversy is that it shows how un-American Obama is. How his years in foreign countries gave him different values than american values.

Most Americans would starve before they would eat dog. And if they were forced to eat dog, they wouldn’t joke about it lightly.

It also shows that the Obama worshiping media did such a poor job vetting him that they either didn’t bother to read his book, or didn’t understand the significance of the dog eating line.

This was just another of his election-year ploys targeted to particular groups that he wants to win or retain as part of his coalition.

Already he's offered free birth control to promiscuous single women, low interest on college loans for students, and now a shout-out to the Cynophage Community: "I'm one of you!"
