I’ve never met a dumb Pole. I’ve met some top notch Polish soldiers and priests though. I have a theory that Polish dumb jokes came from German immigrants.
That would not be surprizing. Georges Washington complained that the new 2nd generation German immigrants were dum as a rock and a threat to the nation.
A Polish army officer once told me, “the reason you have Polish jokes in America is because we sent you the dumb ones.”
I thought of replying that the smart Poles were all exterminated in Katyn Forest, but refrained.
Anyway, this British gal’s cute no doubt, but she would IMO come up only average among Slavic beauties.
Polish jokes were propaganda in England to ease the betrayal of the Poles to Uncle Joe. In the battle of Britain the polish squadrons were heroes and were huge celeberties. The government had to explain why their allies were being sold down the river so they started putting out the stories that poles were too stupid to govern themselves.
