To: Las Vegas Dave
Things are looking up, people might be cutting back on buying made-in-China crap. OTOH, a lot of these stores seem to either be in depressed areas (Calif) or downtown stores where people browse but don't drive in with a pickup truck to load up.

If someone gave me a free 10k Best Buy shopping spree I would look for some way to sell it for cash or trade it for some lumber from Lowes.

The Ft Myers store was in an area where heavy development was going on and then quit happening.

It has to do with more people buying stuff online (made from China) than people stop buying at Best Buy..
