This unbelievable video shows a reckless cyclist leading police in a 60mph chase down the motorway.
Ignoring the blaring siren and pouring rain, the Czech rider tears down the busy road at great speed, before slipping past a white van.

I wonder how he can pedal his bike that fast with a set of balls that must hang down to his knees...

A thief in Houston just led about 15 cops on a 100+mph chase through Houston in 5pm traffic this afternoon. No one was hurt and a sharp shooting cop shot one of his tires out and ended his run. It was caught live by a helicopter on the 5pm news. Very exciting.

Still, being able to do 40mph for miles on end is a pretty decent clip. That’s Lance Armstrong kind of performance.

He probably did a lot of drafting.

And miles on end? There was only 25 seconds of visual contact before the cop blurted B**** and lost him off road.
Max speed was 54 km/h which is about 35 mph.

Yes, you can see that he was right on the truck’s butt. When I was young and stupid, I did the same thing a couple of times. It’s amazing how fast you can go on a bike being sucked along by a big truck.

We were on a bus one day going about 55mph with a cyclist drafting behind us. He got behind us as we pulled away from a light and kept up as we built up speed. He didn’t stay too long before he dropped off but it was pretty impressive while it lasted.

Did you see the chase live? I turned the TV on at 5pm and it was happening live. Very scary, I guess the people on I-10 did not even realize what was happening until that gang of cop cars came flying past.

I didn’t see it live. Heard about it on the radio as I was driving home. Decided to avoid the freeway altogether.
I think there were 2 or 3 fatality accidents in Houston yesterday, plus this crazy guy. (full moon - almost)
