Wouldn’t it work best if his back were toward the viewer? That way, he would be looking at the background scene, for reference, and his eyes would not be toward the viewer. Of course, his backside would be, but that could also be easier to deal with than the frontside.

I’ve lived with pain of one kind or another since I was 14, so that’s all I know. My daughter, however, is extremely sensitive to any kind of pain. My son is somewhere between the two of us.

Don’t apologize for trying to deal with pain and losing your sense of humor in the process. The pain will eventually go away, and make room for your humor again! I promise.

In the meantime, here is where you can whine and pewl and we well help you through it!

It’d be a lot more efficient if she’d just let him see through her eyes or to develop some reflective function. Did you want to retain the intimidative function? I learn better when I’m relaxed. Anxiety closes the door.

“...pooh-poohed my attempt at giving him a book on the Atkin’s Diet, saying it was “bad for his heart.” “
This stuck in my head, so I better say it. I went on Atkin’s induction, and an erudite friend of my was horrified. At a later time, I presented her w/documentation of my vastly improved lipid profile (heh heh heh.) No medication involved. Can you say “speechless”? *giggle*

Additionally, since punctuation is highly overrated, I’m no longer concerned w/it. :)

“cast-iron S.O.B.”
Would you consider being a stainless steel S.O.B.? At least you wouldn’t have to be seasoned so you don’t rust.

Please excuse my ignorance. What are the implications of *crickets*? Just almost-palpable silence?

It’s when no one has posted for several hours. The word may be accompanied by the statement, “I killed it!” Meaning the thread of course!

I have known several people who have had awesome results on the Atkin’s Diet, and at least one of them was diabetic.

He seems to think his wife is the smartest woman in the world, but she, too, thinks that, so I don’t know who is going to win this round. He thinks she is perfect for him, and I will not interfere. Never have, never will.

I’m glad y’all like the kitteh. I took several children to the library. Then we went to church, because the secretary had phoned and said Father wanted to give us a surplus ham. (I think people gave him stuff for Easter.) Also some kind of bread with raisins.

DP and Tom are back from Walmart, having obviously failed to check for what we already had before they bought more of the same. Drives me NUTS. We need an infinitely-expanding refrigerator!

I haven’t had a ham for a long time, surplus or otherwise!

Maybe you could get a fridge like they have on Tool Time. Some days, Tim just opened the fridge door and walked right in, then came back with a beer! LOL! The next time it was opened, it was just a fridge.

The weather is supposed to get cooler this week, with some rain in the valley and snow in the mountains. How fun. I put away my space heater, but not my winter clothes. Or blankets!

I love ham. It’s not only great alone—it enhances so many other dishes (ham and cheese quiche comes to mind....)

Howdy. Oh boy did I freak out yesterday and still am a bit. I took Fredd out for his run on my 4wheeler. At one point I turned around to go see what was on the ground.......I ran over him..... he yiked and then was just fine. I checked him and ran my hands all over his bones to see if he was broken.

He is fine today as well. He has a habit of running in front of the 4wheeler and barking. So next ride I will take a broom with me and try to break him of that habit by swinging the broom at him when he gets to close.

Hope you all have a nice safe day!

Time will tell.
