Things are the same here - it’s most important who wins the argument, or else who has the last word!
While I understand what you mean, isn’t the whole reason for “winning the argument” or “getting the last word” simply the tactic used to deny admitting I’m wrong and my opponent’s right?
Isn’t it just a refusal to concede I lost the argument?
