Was he trespassing? Thought his father’s girlfriend lived in the so-called “gated community.” The community was an apartment complex with gates that were locked. When the media said “gated community” wasn’t your first thought of some very wealthy people with tied up yachts and huge houses? Trayvon may have just wanted to get out of the house to talk to his girlfriend privately.
Only mentioned this because the story is screwed up ANYWAY, not by you necessarily, but we just don’t know. If the race-baiters keep it up, we’ll never know, because they’ll have Zimmerman hung before his story even GETS out.

Most gated communities I’m familiar with have gates that prevent cars from entering. If you’re on foot, you just walk around them.
There are quite a few around here, and I’m unaware of any that have made any attempt to have a continuous fence, etc. to prevent all entry.
