But you are talking aobut the fruits of the labors of two of the hardest working groups of people in the free world, both of which put in twelve hour days at a minimum, and operations which go 24/7/365.
If you would propose that everyone give away what they work hard for, without compensation...well, there is a name for that. It wouldn't be long before 'voluntary' became mandatory, or even coerced, and we have seen how that works out.
If the Oil companies did give away gasoline, it would not significantly address the other sources of inflation, which are part and parcel of the fiscal policy of these United States, and it would do little to curb the shipping costs of the goods America relies upon--most of which are shipped using diesel powered conveyances.
In the meantime, this administration and the MSM would spin it that somehow it was all because of Obama, and not in spite of him, that the oil industry has made any progress in this country--and considering the number of stupid people out there, they would attribute the prosperity of free fuel to Obama's actions, which would have the opposite effect of that desired.
It has been my experience that many of the multitudes vote based on little more than the fullness of their bellies. If full, they consider the incumbent to have done well, if not, they blame him. It's no fancy calculus, but it is a prime motivator.
In the meantime, let those who voted for him feel the hunger and the pain, and we can be rid of this fool and his followers before they do more damage.
Since it's obvious no such document exist, this is one way to display this to the general public. The MSM sure isn't doing it.
