Big oil won’t even run advertisments to debunk the “Big Oil” myth. All they’d need to do is have a few grandma’s, grandpa’s, etc. who own oil company stock stand up and say “I am Big Oil” and that whole issue would be put to bed. After all, it’s the stockholders who own the company.
