The movie that depicted 911 as a dastardly attack by fundamentalist murderous muzzies and the heroic efforts of average to overcome and save lives on that frightful day. Oh wait nobody ever made a movie like that, never-mind.

LOL. One of my “weird movies” I brought over for others to watch one night. Fun listening to their reactions to some of the scenes. It held their attention right to the end.

That’s a Mel Gibson movie, Payback. The hooker with the golden heart is Mario Bello. One of the crooks who croak is Kris Kristofferson. It doesn’t inspire me, though.

The Fountainhead depressed me. Probably shouldn’t recommend it to ex-postal workers.

The Passion of the Christ is more than a movie. The second time I saw it was harder than the first time. A third time would take some guts.

Without a doubt, the original Rocky. I loved it on first release and was inspired throughout my life to keep trying, no matter the odds. When I turned 52, I became a fitness trainer...again, because the film so inspired me. Great character, great movie, great message.

Any Japanese Godzilla movie. The tender story of a large lizard destroying cities because his father didn’t play catch with him.

The Fountainhead, Sgt. York, The Quiet Man, Braveheart.

I like all of those a lot, and a few others like High Noon & Shane, etc. In particular, for me, though it was "The Fountainhead" which I chanced to read at a particular point in my career when I was struggling with whether to follow my dream, or cave to external trending pressures. I did the Howard Roark thing and am thankful.
