A rare Wednesday night group song--and it's pretty awesome too.

The Idols sing a melody of Queen songs with the two surviving members of the band playing back up.

Brian May guitar solo! GOOSIES!

Brian May still rocks it! Unfortunately I don’t think most Queen songs are suited to the remaining contestants...except maybe Elise. Joshua is definitely out of his element here!

Agree. One of the better Idol show openers.

Will be interested to hear Jessica and Hollie’s song choice as they can carry the higher notes.

Hollie Cavanagh
(1st Song)

Her Queen song is "Save Me". Never heard this one before, but she's doing a great job with it. Awesome!

Steven: A good old-fashioned song with a melody, something I miss nowadays. (Liked it)

J-Lo: I really felt you get emotional in the middle of it. When you did do that if did go off a little bit. I want to see you enjoy it more. I still feel like you're thinking. (she jabbers on about how to have a good time on stage)

Randy: You've been having a lot of good performances. This was pretty solid for you. You can take more chances. Everyone needs to have a moment. That song didn't quite have that for me.

Steven adds (after being asked by Seacrest) that he doesn't need all the vocal gymnastics that current singers do and appreciates that Hollie stayed with the simple melody of the song.
